Jordan: Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi has held separate phone calls with his Cypriot counterpart and the European Union’s top diplomat to discuss regional developments, Jordan’s state news agency has reported.

According to Qatar News Agency, Safadi spoke on Thursday with Cyprus’s Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos and with Kaja Kallas, the EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. The talks focused on the overall situation in the region, as well as ongoing efforts aimed at reducing tensions and promoting security and stability.
