Israeli officer and soldier seriously injured in Gaza and Lebanon

The Israeli army announced on Saturday evening that an officer and a soldier were seriously injured during the battles in Gaza and Lebanon during Yom Kippur.

The army said that an officer from the military engineering school was seriously wounded earlier today during events in the southern Gaza Strip.

In another incident, a reserve soldier from the 9203rd Battalion of the Alexandroni Brigade was injured yesterday in clashes in southern Lebanon.

He confirmed that the soldiers were transferred to receive medical treatment in the hospital, and their families were informed.
