Israeli Occupation Navy Opens Fire at Fishing Boats in Gaza

Israeli occupation navy ships today opened fire and shot water canons at fishermen’s boats sailing in the northern and southern coasts of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources said that the navy opened fire at fishing boats sailing three nautical miles in the northern Gaza coast in the Sudaniyeh area and in Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip forcing the fishermen to return to shore to avoid being hit. No one was injured.

Meanwhile, settlers set large swathes of Palestinian-owned lands on fire today near the village of Burin, in the West Bank province of Nablus.

Palestinian sources said that a group of settlers set hundreds of trees ablaze and destroyed them, adding that the settlers attacked Palestinians who were trying to fend off the attack.
