Israeli Occupation Forces Launch Renewed Incursion into Syrian Territory

Quneitra: Israeli occupation forces renewed their incursions into Syrian territory on Sunday. The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that the forces advanced into the southern countryside of Quneitra.

According to Qatar News Agency, an Israeli occupation force consisting of six military vehicles entered the southern Quneitra area and set up a checkpoint near the battery factory on the road connecting the villages of Bariqa and Koudneh. The report added that the area is currently tense, as the occupation forces remain in position.

Yesterday, an Israeli unit had advanced into Al Sraiya, located south of the village of Ruwayhina and north of the village of Zubaida Al-Gharbiya in southern Quneitra. The Israeli entity continues its policies and violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through incursions into the Quneitra and Daraa countryside and activities affecting civilians.

Syria continues to demand the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory and calls on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities and deter the occupation’s actions.
