Ramallah, The israeli occupation forces arrested 30 Palestinians in the West Bank, bringing the total number of arrests since Oct. 7 to more than 7,990 detainees.
In a joint statement, Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and Palestinian Prisoners Society said that the arrests took place in many areas, including the governorates of Occupied Jerusalem, Ramallah, Hebron, Bethlehem, Tubas, Jenin, Qalqilya and Ariha.
The occupation continues to carry out widespread raids and destruction in governorates, camps and towns, accompanied by sabotage and destruction of Palestinians’ homes, in addition to severe beatings against detainees and their families, the statement added, pointing out that the detention toll includes those who were arrested from homes, and through military checkpoints, as well as those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
It is noteworthy that the pace of arrests and raids in the West Bank escalated, coinciding with the
start of the brutal israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip 180 days ago, during which the israeli occupation killed more than 32,975 Palestinians, and injured 75,577 others, while thousand others remain missing under the rubble.
