Doha:Southern Lebanon: Israeli airstrikes, artillery shelling, and machine-gun fire continued to target areas across southern Lebanon on Thursday.

According to Qatar News Agency, Israeli aircraft conducted strikes on the outskirts of Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah toward Mayfadoun. Additionally, Ali Al-Taher hill near Nabatieh Al-Fawqa was subjected to intermittent artillery fire.

Machine-gun fire from Israeli forces swept through the town of Haddatha in the Bint Jbeil district as military vehicles advanced in the area. These military actions occur amid escalating tensions along Lebanon's southern border, raising concerns about the growing scope of the attacks and the ongoing targeting of residential zones.

Last June, Lebanon and the Israeli entity signed a US-mediated framework agreement. This agreement included security arrangements, such as the gradual deployment of the Lebanese army, withdrawal of occupation forces, and measures for reconstruction and economic recovery. Despite this, the implementation has encountered several obstacles.
