Israeli Forces Conduct Incursions in Southern Syria

Tunis:Israeli occupation forces executed fresh incursions into southern Syria on Tuesday. They searched homes in the Quneitra countryside, fired shots to prevent farmers from accessing their land in western rural Damascus, and demolished abandoned military fortifications in the area.

According to Qatar News Agency, seven Israeli military vehicles moved into an area north of Kodna in the southern Quneitra countryside, where troops conducted searches in several homes in the town.

In western rural Damascus, Israeli forces advanced into the vineyards of Mazraat Beit Jinn and used gunfire to keep farmers from reaching their agricultural lands. Additionally, they blew up abandoned military fortifications in the vicinity.

Israeli reconnaissance aircraft were also observed flying over Wadi Al-Raqqad in the Yarmouk Basin area of western rural Daraa. These incursions are part of ongoing Israeli violations of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement in southern Syria. Damascus continues to urge the international community to intervene to halt these incursions and to press Israel for a complete withdrawal from Syrian territory.
