Israeli Forces Conduct Incursion into Southern Syria’s Western Daraa Province

Doha: The Israeli occupation forces have advanced in the Yarmouk Basin area of the western Daraa province in southern Syria. Local sources have reported that an Israeli force comprising a number of military vehicles moved towards the villages of Maariya and Abidin, all the way to the Tal Al Maghar area and opened fire towards the surrounding agricultural lands.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Israeli forces have set up tents in the vicinity of Tal Al Maghar and established a new checkpoint on the road connecting the villages of Saisoun and Jamla. Additionally, they have been conducting excavation work in the area.

Israeli forces are reported to continue violating the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through these repeated incursions into southern Syria and carrying out raids. Meanwhile, Syria continues to call on the international community to put an end to these violations and ensure Israel's full withdrawal from Syrian territory.
