Doha: The Israeli entity continued its attacks on southern Lebanon despite the signing of a framework agreement between the two sides.

According to Qatar News Agency, the Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Israeli entity carried out bombings in the town of Khiam, while its vehicles moved within the town. An Israeli airstrike also targeted an area between the towns of Taybeh and Deir Seryan.

Lebanon and the Israeli entity had signed a framework agreement under US auspices, which includes security arrangements, the redeployment of the Lebanese army, measures for the reconstruction of damaged areas and the revitalization of the Lebanese economy, the establishment of direct communication channels between the two sides, and confidence-building measures as a prelude to lasting peace.
