Doha:The death toll from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since October 8, 2023, has climbed to 8,953, with 30,649 individuals injured, as reported by Lebanon's Ministry of Public Health.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministry's Emergency Operations Center revealed that these figures encompass 4,386 deaths and 12,413 injuries recorded since March 2, 2026.

In late June, Lebanon and Israel agreed to a US-brokered framework that included security arrangements, redeployment of the Lebanese army in southern Lebanon, reconstruction of affected areas, and steps towards economic recovery. However, Lebanese authorities indicate that most provisions of the agreement remain unimplemented.
