Gaza City: The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) murdered a foreign staff member working for UN agencies and injured five others in a bombing of a UN headquarters in the central Gaza Strip.
According to Qatar News Agency, in a press conference held today, the ministry announced the death of a UN staff member and the serious injury of five others, noting that they were among the martyrs and wounded civilians that arrived at Shuhadaa Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al-Balah, as a result of the occupation’s bombing of their headquarters in the central governorate.
In April 2024, the IOF murdered seven people working with the World Central Kitchen organization, as a result of an Israeli airstrike targeting their vehicle in the southern Gaza Strip.
The Israeli occupation resumed its genocide on the Gaza Strip at dawn yesterday, after a two-month hiatus under a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on Jan. 19. However, the occupation has violated the terms of the ceasefire throughout the two months, continuing its bombing of various areas in the Gaza Strip, causing destruction while murdering and injuring civilians. It has also refused to implement the humanitarian protocol, and has tightened its stifling siege on the Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
