Manama, Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, today received Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, and his accompanying delegation.
Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Nawaf bin Mohammad Al Maawda, Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al Hassa, and Interior Ministry’s Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, attended.
The Interior Minister welcomed the Saudi officials, hailing the historical and brotherly ties between the two countries, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He valued the efforts of Saudi Arabia to provide all facilities for the comfort of pilgrims of Bahrain and the rest of the world.
He affirmed continuous cooperation and coordination between the two countries to provide the best services for pilgrims, enabling them to perform their rituals easily and safely.
Ways to enhance cooperation, coordination and joint operations were reviewed.
