Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, the Minister of Information, said the royal address at the opening of the second session of the sixth legislative term today was a reference point guiding national action in the coming stage to continue developmental achievements.
The recognition given by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for joint efforts and cooperation of the executive and legislative authorities is an honour and a source of motivation for all those working in both authorities, the minister said.
The minister said the royal order to put in place an action plan to preserve the historic and cultural identity of the buildings and cities of Bahrain and to revive the Isa Al Kabeer Palace and well known neighbourhoods in Muharraq, reflected the rich history and status of the city.
Dr. Al Nuaimi commended the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister on initiating an action plan to implement the royal order and to launch the Muharraq City Development Plan, which translates the visions of HM the King into tangible plans that serve the kingdom and its people.
The minister said that the government led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister continued working on implementing the visions of HM the King, transforming challenges into promising opportunities and achievements on the ground.
