Industry Minister inaugurates Bayanah Home in Seef Area

Manama, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, inaugurated “Bayanah Home” in Seef area, where he was received by store owner Shaikha Marwa bint Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, and a number of officials and invitees.

The minister affirmed the remarkable efforts and prominent role of Bahraini businesswomen and their contributions to supporting the national economy in various fields, noting the support given to Bahraini women by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).

Fakhro noted the government’s constant keenness to support and empower Bahraini women in general and entrepreneurs and businesswomen in particular, and enhance their contribution to the comprehensive development process.

ini women, which contributed to enhancing their status in shaping the kingdom’s development and economic prosperity.

Sheikha Marwa highlighted the importance of utilising facilities and benefits provided by the government to implement projects in a way that supports the creation of a diversified and active economy, expressing her appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce in this regard.

Bayanah Home is the first of its kind to sell household utensils, glassware, perfumes, curtain fabrics and furniture inspired by Arab and Gulf tradition, featuring unique prints and patterns. The store imports its goods from some Asian countries, including India, and aspires to extend reach and open branches around the GCC in the near future.
