New Delhi, The Indian Army announced holding a meeting of the sub-working group of the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission to discuss means to enhance cooperation between India and Russia in the defence sector.
The Army Command stated that this was the third such meeting, held over two days in the Indian capital. Leaders from the Indian Army and the Russian Ground Forces participated, focusing on enhancing cooperation in defence, military training, military education, and joint exercises between the Indian and Russian armies.
Additionally, Russia’s RIA news agency reported that a diplomatic source mentioned that India and Russia are discussing arrangements for India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Russia, which might take place in July.
