The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today met with the Minister of Education, HE Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, at Gudaibiya Palace.
His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of advancing the Kingdom’s education system by fostering a creative and innovative educational environment that enables citizens to contribute to the Kingdom’s wide-ranging development.
His Royal Highness emphasised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s ongoing support for the Kingdom’s education sector.
HRH the Deputy King then directed for the introduction of a parent induction day to be held across public schools to brief guardians on the new academic year.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasised the importance of using the newest technologies and developing education policies with the latest methods to support an educational system on par with global developments.
HRH the Deputy King further directed the Minister to ensure public schools foster an educational environment that encourages students to advance and excel.
His Royal Highness concluded by wishing students, academic, and administrative bodies from all institutions and educational levels a successful new academic year.
For his part, HE Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and highlighted HRH the Deputy King’s commitment to furthering the Kingdom’s education sector.
HE Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak added that HRH the Deputy King’s support motivates the Ministry’s employees to double efforts to advance the Kingdom’s education and serve Bahraini citizens.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, also attended the meeting.
