Houthis target two ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden

Jerusalem – Ma’an – The Houthis announced on Thursday evening that they had carried out two military operations targeting and directly hitting two ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, in what they said was “a victory for the injustice of the Palestinian people and their mujahideen, and in response to the American-British aggression against Yemen.”

The spokesman for the Houthi-affiliated Yemeni armed forces, Yahya Saree, said, “The initial operation targeted the oil ship (Sounion), which belongs to a company that deals with the Israeli enemy, and violated the decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine. The ship was accurately and directly hit while sailing in the Red Sea and is at risk of sinking.”

He added, “The other operation targeted a ship (SW North Wind I), which also belongs to a company that deals with the Israeli enemy and violated the decision to ban entry to the ports of occupied Palestine. It was directly and accurately hit while sailing in the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea.”

Saree explained that “the naval forces, the air force, and the missile force participated in implementing the two military operations, with a number of warships, ballistic and winged missiles, and drones.”

He stressed that “the Yemeni Armed Forces confirm their continuation in imposing a naval blockade on the Israeli enemy and targeting all ships linked to it or belonging to companies dealing with it, in the area of ??military operations announced in previous statements.”

Saree concluded by saying, “The operations of the Yemeni armed forces will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on our brothers in the Gaza Strip is lifted.”
