Muscat, Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, led the Bahraini delegation at the 21st Meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Housing Ministers.
The meeting reviewed developments in the joint housing databases, the unified general rules for real estate owners in the GCC countries, and the General Secretariat’s proposal regarding signing agreements with specialized organisations that serve the housing sector.
They discussed and approved decisions on the agenda, including the proposal of the General Secretariat of GCC, regarding the joint Gulf housing action plan from 2024 to 2030.
Al Rumaihi affirmed that joint housing action among the GCC countries, contributed to unifying visions and developing housing policies and plans with ideas, initiatives and solutions.
The minister highlighted Bahrain’s efforts in exchanging expertise, plans and achieving common goals.
