Doha: The Department of Meteorology has forecasted that the weather inshore today will begin with misty to foggy conditions in certain areas, transitioning to hot conditions during the daytime. There is a warning for poor horizontal visibility in some areas initially.
According to Qatar News Agency, offshore conditions are expected to be hazy at times. The winds inland will start as variable and will shift to a northwesterly-northeasterly direction at speeds of 03-13 KT. Offshore winds will be variable, primarily from the northeast to northwest, also at 03-13 KT.
The sea height is predicted to be between 1 to 2 feet inshore and 1 to 3 feet offshore. Visibility inshore is expected to range from 4 to 9 kilometers, dropping to 2 kilometers or less in some places initially, while offshore visibility will remain between 4 to 9 kilometers.
Temperature forecasts for different areas include highs and lows with Doha expecting temperatures between 31 and 38 degrees, Dukhan ranging from 27 to 36 degrees, Messaid at 30 to 37 degrees, Wakrah between 31 and 38 degrees, Al Khor from 27 to 38 degrees, Ruwais at 26 to 36 degrees, and Abu Samra with temperatures from 27 to 36 degrees.
The high and low tide times for these areas vary, with sunrise at 05:21 LT and sunset at 17:31 LT.
