Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree (59) of 2024 on restructuring the General Sports Authority (GSA), based on a proposal by the Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) and following the approval of the Cabinet.Article IThe GSA shall be restructured as follows:Chief Executive Officer of the GSA, overseeing:First: Human and Financial Resources DirectorateSecond: Monitoring and Audit DirectorateThird: Deputy Chief Executive Officer (at the rank of Assistant Undersecretary), overseeing:1- Facilities Directorate2- Projects Directorate3- Legal Affairs and Licensing Directorate4- Sports Affairs DirectorateArticle IIThe Chairman of the SCYS shall implement this decree, which takes effect from the date of its issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.Source: Bahrain News Agency
