The King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence celebrated the Islamic New Year 1445 AH, in an even attended by representatives of different sections of the society.

Shaikh Khalifa bin Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Board of Trustees Chairman congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, as well as Bahrainis and Muslims on this occasion.

During the event, Shaikh Khalifa highlighted the sanctity of the month of Muharram, which is the first month in the Hijri calendar.

The chairman emphasized that HM the King’s vision for establishing the center and consolidating the foundations of coexistence and peace in Bahrain is a reflection of the Bahraini society’s ability to communicate and coexist with each other and promote peace.
