Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain winning the gold medal in the women’s 3000m steeplechase race at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The minister underscored that this victory adds to Bahrain’s record of sporting achievements, led by HM the King’s vision and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), and their commitment to
achieving further sporting accomplishments both at the regional and international levels.
