Doha:HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani stressed the importance of investing in human capital as a cornerstone for national progress during his address at the opening of the Shura Council's second ordinary session of the second legislative term.

According to Qatar News Agency, His Highness highlighted the advancements made by Qatari educational institutions, including Qatar University and the universities of Education City. He emphasized the state's commitment to monitoring the education sector's development, encompassing public and private schools and addressing the needs of people with special needs.

HH the Amir underscored the necessity for educational institutions to equip youth with necessary skills for the labor market, alongside fostering cultural awareness and critical thinking. He also emphasized the dual importance of embracing modern science and technology while reinforcing the Arabic language and national identity.
