HH the Amir Engages with Global Leaders on Regional Stability

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a joint telephone call with several key regional and international leaders, including HE President of the United States Donald Trump, HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, HM King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan, HH President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, HRH Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, HE President of Egypt Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, HE President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and HE Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan Gen. Syed Asim Munir. The discussions centered on addressing escalating security and political challenges.

According to Qatar News Agency, the leaders exchanged views on how to manage tensions and prevent them from escalating, which could pose a threat to regional and international peace and stability. They expressed appreciation to the US President for facilitating coordination among the involved parties and acknowledged Pakistan's diplomatic efforts.

HH the Amir emphasized the necessity of increased consultation and coordination among the countries involved to bolster regional and international stability. His Highness highlighted that diplomatic solutions remain the optimum approach for resolving crises and mitigating the effects of escalation on regional peace and security.
