HH the Amir and UAE President Engage in Talks on Middle East Issues

Abu dhabi: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met with HH President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, in Abu Dhabi today. The meeting centered around discussions on the latest regional and international developments, with a particular focus on the situation in the Middle East. Both leaders exchanged views on current issues and the challenges confronting the region, as well as efforts to promote calm.

According to Qatar News Agency, the two heads of state affirmed their commitment to continued joint coordination and emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomatic solutions. They reiterated their support for all efforts that would consolidate security and stability, ultimately contributing to maintaining peace and enhancing development opportunities for the peoples of the region.

The discussions also included the strong fraternal relations between Qatar and the UAE, with both leaders exploring ways to support and develop these ties for the benefit of both nations. The meeting underscored the deep-rooted connections between the two countries and their shared interests in fostering regional stability.

The meeting was attended by several high-ranking officials from both sides. From Qatar, attendees included HH Personal Representative of the Amir, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani; HE President of the Olympic Council of Asia and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee, Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani; and HE Chief of the Amiri Diwan Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi. The UAE delegation included HH Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chief of the Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan; HH Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; and several other senior officials.
