Bratislava, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and Commander of the Royal Ability Team, has led the Royal Endurance Team to victory in the 120-kilometre race at the Šamorín championship in Slovakia.
The race was attended by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and His Highness Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice-President of the Supreme Council for Environment, Deputy Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) High Committee and Member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser emphasised that the Royal Endurance Team will continue to lead the way in the European arena after several successes achieved by the jockeys, through which they have demonstrated the team’s strategy to win titles and reinforce
its capability and expertise.
His Highness said the Šamorín championship was an important stage in the preparations of the team for the upcoming Monpazier World Championship in France next September.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad congratulated the Royal Endurance Team jockeys for their first-place finishes in the 160 km and 120 km races, and wished the team continued success.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser led the Royal Endurance Team from the first stage to the fourth stage, showcasing his skill and experience.
HH Shaikh Nasser finished the race in first place with a time of 5:25:17, followed by Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa in second place and Yousef Al Jabouri in third, both from Team Victorious.
