Mr. Hamad Khalifa Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Shared Services Affairs of the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, announced on the ministry’s website (www.mme.gov.qa) and the ministry’s smart devices application (Awon) that the Ministry has established an easy process to retrieve the security deposit for the Winter Camping Season.
He explained that retrieving the security deposit can be made through the Website by first navigating to (environmental services), selecting (requesting a winter camp), then entering the camping system site for the year 2020 and filling in the personal ID No. and mobile number of the ID holder previously registered at the camping site, and finally selecting (Request to retrieve security deposit). ?After the camp owner carefully reads the terms of retrieval?, he added ?the camp owner will select the year of security deposit retrieval, enter the IBAN number in full, chose the bank, and attach a clear copy of his/her ID. After that, he/she shall send the request, and they will receive messages of the status of the request until the security amount is transferred to the aforementioned account. He further noted that, in order to facilitate the procedures for retrieving the deposit amount, attachment of the bank IBAN certificate has been discarded. In the event of registry errors, the refund process will be rejected by the bank specified in the request. It?s worth noting that the process of retrieving the deposit amount through the Ministry?s website and “Awon” App is carried out in close collaboration between the Environmental Affairs Sector, the Information Systems Department, and the Financial Affairs Department.
As for retrieving the security amount through “Awon” App, the camp owner will select services, then chooses to retrieve the security amount, and enter the IBAN number, choose the bank, attach a copy of the ID card, then submit the request.
