Gulf Creativity Forum Kicks Off in Doha, Uniting GCC Youth in Innovation

Doha: The Gulf Creativity Forum kicked off at Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena at Al Sadd Sports Club in Doha on Sunday. The event, organized by Doha Girls Center in collaboration with the Youth Organ of Al Sadd Sports Club, is held under the mantra of Gulf energies and creative prospects, in pursuit of promoting the spirit of joint Gulf belonging.

According to Qatar News Agency, the forum brings together a variety of young men and women from the GCC states, aiming to strengthen innovation and highlight the role of Gulf youth as powerful partners in societal development. Sheikha Hussein, Director of the Doha Girls Center, emphasized that the forum serves as a platform for Gulf young energies, fostering collaboration among the peoples of GCC nations. She highlighted the center's belief in investing in young people as the core pillar of development.

The forum provides a space for conversation and showcases young initiatives, offering opportunities for sharing successful expertise. It aims to foster a shared Gulf identity and values of cooperation, giving, and societal responsibility. Hussein expressed gratitude for the prominent models of young creatives from various fields, recognizing their ambition and capabilities.

Maryam Al Yousef, Head of the Youth Organ at Al Sadd Sports Club, stated that the forum supports youth initiatives and projects, facilitating communication and knowledge sharing among GCC innovators. She noted that the forum has showcased inspiring youth experiences, including six initiatives and projects from GCC nations, demonstrating promising young energies and creative perspectives capable of positively impacting Gulf societies.

Al Yousef announced the Youth Department at Al Sadd Club's upcoming summer program, set to run from July 4 to mid-August. It targets the 15-39 age group, with activities focusing on knowledge, skills, and recreation. The program includes workshops on community security, traffic safety, cybercrime prevention, and civil defense, alongside leadership and event management programs, sports activities, and Muay Thai training.

The forum featured a theatrical performance titled "When Dreams Spoke," addressing youth and community issues creatively. A dialogue session, "How Do We Create a Shared Gulf Impact," featured key speakers discussing the role of young people in development, Gulf identity, and youth-led initiatives. The session included a presentation on the "Rafeeq Al Noor" initiative and offered participants a platform to exchange perspectives.

Interactive zones at the forum included a Youth Initiatives pavilion showcasing innovative projects, the "Inspired by the Gulf" zone with artistic and craft works, and a "For a Sustainable Gulf" pavilion featuring environmental initiatives and recycling workshops, all aimed at enhancing awareness and sustainability concepts among young people.
