Doha:Spot gold held steady at $4,356.92 per ounce, while US gold futures for December delivery saw a 0.4 percent increase, reaching $4,394.90.
According to Qatar News Agency, the stability in gold prices comes as investors weigh the possibility that major central banks may maintain high interest rates for an extended period to tackle ongoing inflation concerns.
In the market for other precious metals, spot silver experienced a 0.4 percent rise to $67.37 per ounce. Platinum saw a 0.3 percent increase, bringing its price to $1,837.80, and palladium also climbed 0.3 percent to $1,311.40.
