Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held the 64th meeting of the Trade Cooperation Committee of the GCC Ministers.
The meeting was chaired by Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Oman Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, in the presence of the Ministers of Trade of the GCC States.
Secretary General said that the results of joint trade work between the GCC countries is reflected on what is witnessed by the intra-GCC trade at all levels and in various commercial and economic activities.
Albudaiwi expressed gratitude to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said and the Sultanate of Oman for their support for the joint Gulf action process.
He said that the Gulf economic unity must be achieved through close cooperation and accelerated work to meet global economic challenges.
He explained that the Joint commercial work between GCC countries has resulted in increased economic cooperation, implementation of decisions, and noteworthy actions.
He concluded his speech by noting that the Ministers of Trade have made decisions to enhance and advance joint trade between the GCC countries.
