The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Jassem Mohamed Albudaiwi met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingddom of Saudi Arabia Shahin Abdullayev, and discussed the 2nd edition of the GCC-Azeri Business Forum, building on the success of the first chapter in 2017.

Albudaiwi stressed the importance of reinforcing GCC-Azeri relations and expanding cooperations to serve common interests in different fields, within the memorandum of understanding which was signed between the two sides.

He noted the need to further joint cooperation in the sectors of energy, trade, investment, food security culture, tourism and education
