Doha: The Foreign Ministers of the State of Qatar, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, the Republic of Indonesia, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Republic of Turkiye strongly condemn the actions of Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir against participants in the Gaza-bound flotilla while they were in Israeli detention.

According to Qatar News Agency, the ministers emphasized that Ben-Gvir's public humiliation of the detainees constitutes an assault on human dignity and violates Israel's obligations under international law, including humanitarian and human rights law.

The ministers also condemned actions of incitement and violence by Ben-Gvir and other Israeli officials against Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. They warned that such provocations fuel hatred and extremism, hindering efforts for a peaceful resolution based on a two-state solution.
