Foreign Minister receives ambassadors

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received Steven Bondy, the United States Ambassador to Bahrain; Clemens Hach, the German Ambassador to Bahrain, Eric Giraud-Telme, the Ambassador of France to Bahrain; Dr. Andreas Eliades, the Ambassador of Cyprus to Bahrain, and Fiona Walker Doyle, the Deputy of Mission at the UK Embassy to Bahrain.

The meeting discussed the strong historical ties between Bahrain and the ambassadors’ countries, the level of coordination and cooperation, and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The meeting reviewed the latest regional and international developments and the war on the Gaza Strip, as well as regional security and stability.

The minister briefed the ambassadors on the positive outcomes of the 33rd Arab Summit, which resulted in constructive decisions and initiatives aimed at strengthening joint Arab action and maintaining regional security and stability.

The ambassadors congratulated Bahrain on the successful Arab Summit. They praised Bahrai
n’s distinguished hosting of the event and wished the kingdom further success and prosperity.
