Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa hailed long-standing Bahrain-UK relations, based on economic cooperation across all fields.

He stressed Bahrain’s commitment to reinforce pathways of joint cooperation in a way that supports the goals of the comprehensive development momentum, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

The minister made the statement as he received – in the presence of Mumtalakat Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa – Mark Cooper, Deputy Director of the Investment Office.

The minister highlighted prospects of joint economic and investment ties, noting that the agreements and memoranda of understanding signed between the two countries contribute to enhancing cooperation and boosting outstanding partnership towards serving common interests and goals.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways of further bolstering joint economic and investment cooperation. Other key issues of common interests were also spotlighted.
