Doha:European stock markets closed higher on Friday as major indices saw gains.

According to Qatar News Agency, the pan-European STOXX 600 index increased by 0.7%, reaching 630.95 points.

France's CAC 40 index climbed 0.79%, finishing at 7,897.19 points, while Germany's DAX index saw a more substantial rise of 1.12%, closing at 25,222.06 points. Britain's FTSE 100 index also advanced, gaining 0.32% to settle at 10,461.95 points.
