Doha:European stock indices opened lower on Thursday, impacted by the ongoing increase in sovereign debt yields across European nations, coinciding with the anticipation surrounding France's 2027 budget proposal.
According to Qatar News Agency, the major European markets experienced declines, with France's CAC 40 index on the Paris Stock Exchange dropping 0.56 percent. Germany's DAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange also saw a decrease of 0.48 percent.
Meanwhile, in London, the UK's FTSE 100 index fell by 1.10 percent. Italy's MIB index on the Milan Stock Exchange recorded a decline of 0.49 percent.
