Minister of Endowments, Mohammad Abdelsattar al-Sayyed, discussed during a meeting Wednesday with the Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Tawfiq bin Fauzan Al Rabia in Jeddah, preparations for performing the Hajj, and the Umrah for the Syrian pilgrims from the city of Damascus this year.
‘It was agreed during the meeting that this year’s Hajj and Umrah will be from Damascus, and under the supervision of the Syrian Ministry of Endowments, that the joint preparatory committees between the two ministries will discuss all the details and logistical procedures necessary to serve the pilgrims in Syria, and provide all the necessary facilities for them.’ the Ministry of Endowments clarified in a statement.
Minister of Endowments participated Tuesday in the opening of the conference and exhibition of Hajj and Umrah services (the road to the Nasq), held in Jeddah, and continues until the 11th of this month, and includes many sessions and workshops on all the details and services that interest the pilgrims.
