Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Yasser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, has stressed the importance of strengthening effective partnership between the public and private sectors and integrating efforts that would develop various services that are provided to citizens, and contribute to diversifying economic tributaries and achieving qualitative achievements in various vital sectors, especially energy services.

The minister made the statement during the signing of an agreement between the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs and ABB Company, the technology leader in electrification and automation, to supply five charging stations with a capacity of 360 kilowatts to charge electric vehicles (EVs) with high speed and efficiency, according to leading international standards in this field, in order to install them in several strategic locations across the Kingdom.
