Doha: Under the initiative of HH Chairperson of Education Above All Foundation (EAA), Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, EAA Foundation has launched the third edition of the "Eid Gifts" campaign in partnership with the Qatar Red Crescent (QRCS), bringing joy to Palestinian and Syrian children by providing them with brand-new Eid outfits.
According to Qatar News Agency, the campaign, which began on the fifth of Ramadan and continues until the 20th of the month, aims to collect new clothes and donations for the children of Palestine and Syria. Donations can also be made electronically through the Education Above All Foundation's website, as well as through the "Snoonu" and "Talabat" applications, allowing individuals to contribute at any time and from anywhere.
The foundation noted that those wishing to donate in person can go to the collection points, provided that all donations are brand new children's clothes, suitable for ages from one year to 15 years, and are placed in one bag to facilitate the collection and distribution process.
In this context, Acting CEO of EAA Foundation Mohamed Al Kubaisi stated that the Eid Gifts Campaign is designed not only to provide support to the most needy children but also to bring warmth and joy to them. He mentioned that the campaign reflects the belief that every child deserves moments of happiness, particularly during Eid, and that tangible differences can be made in the lives of children most in need during this holy month of giving.
For his part, Board Member and Secretary-General of QRCS, Eng. Ibrahim bin Hashim Al-Sada, praised the Ramadan initiative, noting that the partnership between the QRCS and the EAA Foundation is being continued for the third consecutive year in implementing the campaign, where the generosity of donors is combined with the efforts of volunteers, creating a vivid expression of love and solidarity from the people of Qatar toward the children of Syria and Palestine.
