An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale struck on Tuesday the Scurry County in western Texas, USA.
The US Geological Survey said that the quake occurred 17 km northeast of Hermle, at a depth of about 7.7 km.
Authority added that the region experienced two more earthquakes, the first followed shortly after, with strengths reaching 4.4 and 3.1 on the Richter scale.
The tremor was felt by residents from all over the west of Texas, after which they filed reports. There have been no reports of damage or injuries due to quake so far.
