An earthquake measuring 4.5 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the northeastern coast of Venezuela on Sunday.

The epicenter of the quake was 39 km, northwest of Guiria, at a depth of 108.8 km, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).

There have been no reports of casualties or damage resulting from the earthquake so far.
