According to Qatar News Agency, the Jordan Chamber of Industry reported that the JD 277 million increase is indicative of the sector's resilience and growing competitiveness. This growth is attributed to market diversification and the production of higher-value industrial products, allowing Jordan to withstand regional and global economic challenges.
The Chamber further explained that the increase in exports was primarily driven by higher sales of key industrial products. These products include raw potash, fertilizers, iron and steel products, organic chemicals, copper, aluminum, cement, and other manufactured goods. The rise in these exports underscores the sector's strategic focus on expanding its market reach and enhancing the quality of its industrial outputs.
