Doha Forum 2025: GCC Chief Says Doha Forum Has Become a Leading Global Platform for Dialogue, Views Exchange

Doha: HE Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi affirmed that the Doha Forum has become an advanced international platform for dialogue and the exchange of perspectives on the issues and challenges facing the world today. Speaking at the opening session of the 23rd edition of the Doha Forum today, Albudaiwi emphasized that countries and regional and international organizations from across the globe attend the forum, particularly as it strengthens regional and global cooperation in formulating effective solutions and actionable recommendations.

According to Qatar News Agency, Albudaiwi underscored that the expanding scope of crises and their impact on regional and international arenas make platforms such as the Doha Forum essential for exchanging views and proposing practical solutions that support international efforts to resolve these crises. The forum, he noted, provides a pivotal space for launching in-depth discussions aimed at advancing joint international action, addressing growing challenges, and supporting comprehensive development for the benefit of humanity as a whole.

The GCC Secretary-General praised the State of Qatar’s efforts in organizing such world-class events with significant international participation. He expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the organizers of the forum, wishing them success in achieving its intended goals.
