Doha: Deposit rates at opening were issued on Sunday by Qatar National Bank (QNB) for several currencies, including USD, JPY, CHF, GBP, QAR, SAR, AED, and BHD. These rates are set for different maturity periods of 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months.

According to Qatar News Agency, the rates for USD deposits are 4.21729% for 1 month, 4.17024% for 2 months, 4.12319% for 3 months, 3.96676% for 6 months, and 3.71438% for 12 months. For JPY, the rates are 0.33000% for 1 month, 0.35000% for 2 months, 0.40000% for 3 months, 0.48000% for 6 months, and 0.68000% for 12 months.

The CHF rates stand at -0.15000% for 1 month, -0.07000% for 2 months, -0.14000% for 3 months, -0.10000% for 6 months, and 0.02000% for 12 months. The GBP deposit rates are 4.03000% for 1 month, 4.01000% for 2 months and 3 months, 4.15000% for 6 months, and 4.18000% for 12 months.

For local and regional currencies, QAR rates are 4.82500% for 1 month, 4.77500% for 2 months, 4.72500% for 3 months, 4.50000% for 6 months, and 4.42500% for 12 months. SAR is offered at 4.90000% for 1 month, 5.00000% for 2 months, 5.10000% for 3 months and 6 months, and 5.05000% for 12 months.

The AED rates are 2.05000% for 1 month, 2.15000% for 2 months, 2.40000% for 3 months, 2.85000% for 6 months, and 3.15000% for 12 months. Lastly, the BHD rates start at 5.29000% for 1 month, 4.81000% for 2 months, 4.70000% for 3 months, 4.65000% for 6 months, and 4.62000% for 12 months.
