Doha, – Weather inshore today until 6:00 pm on Friday will be partly cloudy to cloudy with moderate to heavy rain, thundery at times with blowing dust, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report, warning of thundery associated with strong wind an poor horizontal visibility.
Offshore, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy sometimes with moderate to heavy rain, thundery at times, the report added, warning of thundery rain associated with poor horizontal visibility and strong wind with high sea.
Wind inshore will be southwesterly to northwesterly 08 to 18 knot reaching to 40 knot at places with thunder rain.
Offshore, it will be variable mainly northwesterly 8 to 18 knot, gusting to 45 knot with thunder rain.
Visibility will be 04 to 08/02 kilometers or less at times.
Sea state inshore will be 1 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet at first with thundery rain. Offshore will be 2 to 5 feet, rises to 14 feet at first with thundery rain.
