Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning about strong winds and high sea conditions expected to persist until evening offshore on Thursday. The weather report indicates that inshore conditions will be hot during the day and moderate at night, while offshore areas are anticipated to remain fine.

According to Qatar News Agency, the winds inshore are forecasted to be northwesterly to northeasterly, ranging from 06 to 16 knots. Offshore, the winds are expected to be northwesterly between 10 to 20 knots, with gusts reaching up to 28 knots until the evening.

Sea conditions inshore are projected to range from 2 to 4 feet, with an increase to 5 feet until evening. Offshore, sea conditions are expected to be between 3 to 6 feet, rising to 9 feet until the evening. Visibility for both inshore and offshore is predicted to be between 5 to 9 kilometers.
