Doha: Weather inshore until 6:00 pm on Sunday will be hazy at places at first with scattered clouds to partly cloudy with a chance of light rain at times, and cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will be hazy and partly cloudy to cloudy with a chance of rain at times, the report said, warning of expected strong wind and high sea.

According to Qatar News Agency, wind inshore will be northwesterly at a speed of 05 – 15 KT, gusting to 24 KT during the daytime. Offshore, the wind will be northwesterly at a speed of 10 – 20 KT, reaching up to 26 KT at times. The sea state inshore will vary between 2 – 4 ft, rising to 5 ft at times, while offshore conditions will range from 4 – 6 ft, and potentially rising to 8 ft at times.

Visibility inshore is expected to be between 5 – 9 km, reducing to 3 km or less in some places at first. Offshore, visibility will remain between 5 – 9 km. The department advises precaution due to the anticipated weather conditions.
