Doha: The Department of Meteorology has issued a warning for inshore areas, forecasting misty to foggy conditions at certain places initially, with moderate temperatures during the day accompanied by some clouds. By night, the weather is expected to become relatively cold and misty. The department has cautioned about poor horizontal visibility anticipated in some areas at the start of the day.
According to Qatar News Agency, inshore winds are predicted to be mainly southeasterly at speeds of 3-13 KT, while offshore winds will also be predominantly southeasterly, ranging from 5-15 KT. The sea state inshore is expected to vary from 1 to 3 feet, with offshore conditions ranging from 2 to 4 feet.
Visibility is a major concern, with inshore areas experiencing visibility between 4-9/2 km or less in certain places initially, and offshore visibility anticipated to range between 5-9 km.
