Riyadh: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi discussed with his Uzbek counterpart, Bakhtiyar Saidov ways to enhance cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in a phone call on Friday. During the call, the two ministers reviewed strategic coordination and bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, and culture, and exchanged views on regional and international issues.

According to Qatar News Agency, they also affirmed their countries’ commitment to the basic norms governing international relations, upholding the leading role of the United Nations, and safeguarding integrity, justice, peace, and stability at both the regional and international levels.
