China produced 84.972 mt of gold using domestic raw materials in the first quarter of this year, up 1.571 mt or 1.88% year-on-year, according to the latest statistics from the China Gold Association,
Among them, the output of gold produced with gold minerals was 66.506 mt, and that of gold from non-ferrous metals by-product was 18.466 mt.
In addition, China also produced 29.901 mt of gold using imported raw materials in Q1, up 24.41% YoY. Hence, the total output of gold produced with both domestic and imported raw materials was 114.873 mt, up 6.92%.
